The successful journalist Mikael Blomkvist is working on a new case. Russian girls are smuggled into the country and forced into prostitution. His research suggests that even high-level officials are involved in this dirty business. What Blomkvist ignores is that his colleague Lisbeth Salander is also investigating on her own.
